The puppies born 3rd October are getting wilder all the time.

They run around the house and they are trying to bite anything with their sharp teeth
- most often it is their own brother or sister.
But very often our toes too ; )

But they still sleep a lot -  and it looks like the have inherited a funny feature from their father:

 they often sleep eyes wide open, or at least partially.

... this is the now easiest way to take photos of the puppies ; )

This week the puppies got a new, very big fan: 2 years old labrador retriever Santtu came to a visit.
He loves dachsies, he has always been with them. So he is very careful with the puppies

and curious about them.

And the puppies did, and they liked each other very much : )
 
 

Two very tired dachsie puppies

 The red girl puppy seems to like her father very much. We are not sure if she especially likes the color...

Here they are - all the red ones in a heap on our sofa: two over 13 year old dachsies and one almost six weeks old ...

Puppies love to play with an  empty doggy food sack:

maybe it is like a small cave - and it smells good.
