Here you are, some photos of Vauhtinakki dachsies from year 2006

In the end of March we  celebrated the birthday of Mimmi and Lempi: Mimmi became 8 years old and Lempi 2 years.

Labrador retriever Santtu is a friend of our dachsies. When he comes to visit  they always have a friendly wrestling match with Jaakko.

The difference in the boys size is very big, but it does not seem to bother

... and when they have finished, Santtu can use Jaakko as a pillow.

 

During the warm and sunny summer the dachsies sun basked on the stairs

 Mimmi on the front, Jaakko and Lempi on the back. On the right side of Jaakko is Kukka. She is related to our dachsies.

During the very warm summer the swimming pool was very useful

in cooling dachsies

Here are two Vauhtinakki boys, they are half brothers

In August we had holidays and went to a rented cottage.
It is the only cottage on a small island, and there are no snakes or even ticks!

So our dachsies could run free around all day. Here are Lempi and Tiitu exploring the beach...

Dachsies also climbed on the cliffs and on the rocks near the water, this is Lempi...

The best pace to look around was on the dock.
There are no other cottages or people on the sight, but you can see birds - and fishes

In October Jaakko celebrated his birthday
